Just a quick FYI, The Post is open @ 1700 Fatherland as of 7am this morning, looks like a million bucks in there...should be a great neighborhood coffee spot

1009 Gallatin Road looks like it's about ready to open...the permit I found online was just a general purpose rehab, didn't mention who's moving in...so far looks alot better than the old 12 Gauge Audio that was there previously at least!

Bwithers, would you mind pointing me to any resources online that I can read up on to learn more about our neighborhood 'Overlays'? I'm new to this board and am trying to learn more about East Nash zoning and overlays and the ilk as our area grows (...and grows, and grows) I don't really speak the language but feel I need to learn...I read through www.eastwoodneighbors.org for starters... Thanks for the intel Hamlet, good stuff! Have you heard any rumblings about additional tenants in the Olive and Sinclair space? I read that there are 1 or 2 small spots in the addition they're planning on leasing. Also, is it confirmed that The Post - East coffee/bakery/juice bar is going diagonally across from Olive and Sinclair @ 1701 Fatherland? Thanks again

Has anyone heard of ANY plans for the defunct Edgefield Restaurant? It's crazy that storefront has sat vacant all this time. The owner is some guy named William Bailey...is he trying to do anything at all with the property?? Thanks
