Honestly the dynamic of having low income housing close by is one of the greatest things I love about my neighborhood. But I don't think that's a popular line of thought for people. But I would definitely not invest in a one entrance subdivision. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

I would like to see an interstate exit if it were to be at Cajun's proposed location. That kind of investment would end up making S Harrells Ferry a more population retail or commercial destination.

Public squares are perfect for free activities, look at Jackson Square. I would like to see one in the city and not particularly in a new urbanism development in the suburbs. I just got back from Denver last Monday, I have 5-6 friends that live there now so the itch to move is getting serious. It hit me when I was driving down Florida Blvd the following Tuesday that this is a pretty bad place to live and grow up. I mean I guess it's fine if you come from money but most don't. Infrastructure means ALOT to me and we just don't invest in it enough. Before that it was Seattle and Vancouver, then Los Angeles, been to Austin a couple times.. I want to see it as part of the medical district, built aggressively urban like one of the proposals that the planning commission or whoever released about a year ago. I really hope they take advantage of it's location and have a bold design for it. I've always thought that space could be turned into an office park with mid and high rises, would be terrible for traffic though.
