  1. Some of that has to do with the widening of the street, which I think has taken longer than any road project in Little Rock, even the Big Rock exchange.
  2. Carter's and Osh Kosh b'Gosh have now applied for permits. Its sure feeling like the expected Outlet Mall names.
  3. The fourth page of this pdf shows where the newest tenants (Region's and Del Frisco's) will be. http://www.reddevelopment.com/Post/sections/20/Files/The%20Promenade%20at%20Chenal%20Property%20Snapshot%201-27-15.pdf BTW: Ate at Bonehead's this weekend and was not at all impressed. My chicken tacos were just okay. Their signature piri piri sauce was nothing to write home about and my husband's fish was overcooked, but pricey ($12.99 for a fast casual place?).
  4. There is a plumbing permit for Verizon at 17807 Chenal Parkway, which puts it in an outparcel of the Promenade (and very close to the AT&T store that will open soon. Not very exciting news for the center.
  5. I was in the mall recently and realized that there are several vacancies right now. Of course, Coldwater Creek is still empty, but there are probably four or more other vacant storefronts. It's not terrible, but I hope they don't lose more once the outlet mall opens.
  6. I'm glad to see I'm glad to see the outparcels filling up, but I really wish something would take the large empty portion of the building that houses DSW. That's a very large, empty spot that visually makes the center look vacant.
  7. That's big. Do we know where yet? I assume an outparcel?
  8. W by Azwell has closed. That was a big space, too. It was a small chain with stores in Memphis and Jackson and the website is no longer up, so I'm thinking it may have completely folded, not because of the mall. Still a sizable space to fill. And I assume that Tipton Hurst was just a temporary fill? That's another large one to have vacant.
  9. A new entrance to the Village at Rahling Road. It will increase visibility for the center and will have a couple of buildings visible from Chenal Parkway.
  10. I have heard that J Crew will have a store, but that it won't affect the one in the Promenade (for now).
  11. A friend knows an employee of J Crew at Promenade who said they will be opening an outlet at the new center. Supposedly, it will not affect the original location. We'll see.
  12. According to plumbing permits, Menchie's will be the fourth occupant of the outparcel under construction at the Promenade. If you're looking for something unique to the market, get this: It is frozen yogurt that you serve yourself! Then, you put the toppings on it and they charge you by the ounce! Pretty amazing stuff. If that doesn't get traffic to the mall as people pass Yogurt Mountain and Orange Leaf, I don't know what will.
  13. Is this in the mall? As in the old Luby's or another outparcel?
  14. The Coach store has closed at Park Plaza, so it has lost a little piece of its upscaleness. Not that the Promenade's is growing.
  15. I stopped by there. Victoria's Secret is closed and under construction, too. Looks like Pink will be right above it. Surprised they didn't take over the Coldwater Creek space instead. The Coach store has closed.
  16. I just hope the Chi family doesn't influence the restaurant too much. For as successful as they are, I really only like Sushi Cafe. The original Chi's has never been much. The Chi's impersonation of Pei Wei out on Chenal was awful the one time I went and the RJ Tao thing has been a disaster.
  17. Fine, I'll start. Ruth's Chris. The Capital Grille. Texas de Brazil. Morton's. Houston's. McCormick & Schmick's.
  18. So now it's been announced as: AT&T, GNC, Boneheads Grill. The fourth space is not finalized.
  19. The question is also who would prefer to be there as opposed to being in the main mall area? AT&T I can see, but I'm not sure who else. Maybe nails or eycare, but they have both of those already. According to Arkansas Business, it will include "food and health and beauty" tenants.
  20. Since half of that space is the AT&T store (yawn), the other 4,000 or so square foot must be divided among some really tiny stores. Not sure what those would be.
  21. The Mini dealer looks very close to opening. I have heard early June. Down the street, the former Bale Kia now has a temporary sign for Bale Isuzu Trucks.
  22. Found this online. It not only lists HomeGoods as one of the anchors, it also shows that there is a proposal for the lot by Coldwater Creek. AT&T wants half the building and they are looking for a tenant for the other half. Be sure to check the links under Property Attachments on the lower left. http://www.thompsonthrift.com/development/available_properties/details/90/smallshopspaceatthepromenadeatchenal/
