I see United/Continental has dropped their service to Newark in may. I don't know if they plan on adding it back or not. But it looks like LIT is without NYC service again.

According to airliners.net, US air is planning on adding 2x daily to Washington DC at the end of March. Its going to be flown on E-170, which is similar in size to a regional jet, but with a comfort level of a mainline jet. Also, dude to AA's bankruptcy and the removal of turbo props from DFW, AA is moving to 5 daily all mainline until the end of march.

One at the Promenade would be really cool!! I could see a lot of the empty lots built up for stand alone restaurants. BTW, i really wish they would expand to Fayetteville. Rogers has P.F. Chang's so put the Pei Wei in Fayetteville.

Any news on the old Lewis and Clark space? I know some pop up Halloween shop is there, but what about a long term, permanent tenant.

I saw some site survey workers out on the back side of the Promenade this past week? They were working around the wooded area behind the center. Are there any rumors going around town? Also, any news going on about the vacant lots around the center? I know McDonald's is going in on one. What about the rest? and btw, why were they allowed to go in here? Why not by Kroger?

Has J Crew started construction yet?. I think if Dicks wanted to build a store where the Dillard's was suppose to go they could do that. I still think that spot is destined for a Macy's, however Dillard's will never let that happen.

Are there any interior renderings of what the space might look like? I still fail to see how this will help attract new tenants. Also, is there a theater less than several hundred feet away in Lakewood Village?

I feel with Burlington right next door, perhaps the old Linens n things building would have been a better site.

Why isnt the Promenade doing more publicity about the new stores coming online? I would think that they would like to get the word out that this is not a dead shopping center because from what I hear everyone thinks this place is dead.

I wish Delta would add LAX or Salt Lake City. That would make going west so much easier.

Does anybody know how the Vision Airlines flights are doing going out of Little Rock? As much as I love the low fares, I do wish that the flight would have been on a more dependable carrier such as Delta or Southwest. Its to bad neither one of them have jumped on the Florida market from LIT.

AA mainline starts this week. Been almost a decade since last mainline flight to DFW from LIT!! This is big news for LIT!! It will be great to see big boy jets in little rock again at the AA gate.

What other stores might we see come online in the near future?

Is there anything else you can tell us? Im so Excited to hear about McCain getting revamped. All I can say is ABOUT TIME! Curretnly, McCain Mall's reputation is in the gutter. You never hear of any reason to go to McCain Mall. Lets see what Simon can pull off. It has to be really impressive, or it ends up being just a band aid on a sinking ship.

James Avery Jewlers opened their first Arkansas store in Midtowne last week. Don't know much about them other than they are family owned & operate 60 other stores across the southeast. Any rumors about the Lewis & Clark Store? Its about 20K sq. ft. I think that's right in rage with what a fresh market would typically use.

Maybe they are prepping for some sort of announcement like a new anchor like Macys, etc.

Yayy, I think if this is the case, then this will be the most upscale center in Arkansas. It will certainly be on par with Park Plaza and the NWA Promenade. I dont think anyone can deny the type of buzz Apple brings with it. I could see places like Fossil, Lucky Brand, etc also pop up as a result of this announcement. I wounder how long until the other no show tenants show up; stores like Victoria Secret, Bath and body works, etc. There are also several other stores in WLR i would like to see relocate to the center like Chicos, Jos A Bank, and IO metro as well. I think this could become a fun little shopping district in Little Rock. Maybe now some department store will move into the center as well. Wounder if AE will come back now?

I was browsing the pluming permits and there was a $500.00 one for an interior upgrade at McCain. Could this be the long awaited upgraded the mall has so desperately needed for years?

Thanks for the info! that's a shame, because I feel that area has got to be one of the most dangerous intersections in the city! Really wish the city would get a jump start on this. Also, Whats going on at the MLK/540 intersection area? I see they are adding another on ramp north bound or they are just replacing the existing one Another one of the areas that needs work ASAP is the College/Joice/business cutoff of 540. They badly need an on ramp for people going northbound on college. I wounder how many people have to go to the stop light and make a u-turn. I would imagine that if they did that it could cut the traffic in that area quite a bit.

Is there a mast plan floating around for this intersection. Something needs to happen ASAP. Im tried of putting my life into other drivers hands when I cross north st. going north on garland. Its one giant cluster f***. I thought little rock was slow on street improvements, but this is ridiculous. Ive been in fayetteville for 3 years and its only getting worse by time.

Will AA ever add back the flights they had pre recession? Not even mainline to Chicago? Im surprised that Delta hasn't added mainline to Atlanta yet. I know that they have it to smaller cities than NWA metro. Has southwest ever been brought up as a possibility?

I dont think it will take long for another restaurant to move in to Blanc's spot, Especially if the space is already finished. I would really like to see a local one move in before a chain, but anything would be cool.

It would have been cool though for SW to add some more flights to LR on a permanent basis.

It all has to do with the fact that Southwest uses DAL and not DFW. SW can only serve a few select states outside of Texas. So, in order to serve PIT from DAL, they must make a stop in LIT, tulsa, st. louis, etc. Im sure it will be gone after this weekend.
