  1. That's what i think is going to happen. If Dillard's was to fail, and shut all its stores, Macy's would be very interested in some Arkansas stores. But i really want to see Macy's and Dillard's compete in Little Rock. This will make Dillard's up grade their store. But Dillard's will have to file for Ch. 11 before we see them shut any stores.
  2. I really hope your right, Although Macy's is in better shape than Dillards right now. I dont want to see Dillards fail. I would love to see it rise from the ashes, but if they cant get their act together, then god bye. When it comes to Macy's, I only think that its a matter of time untill its in the Little Rock/North Little Rock area. If they are in Spingfield, MO. Then they can make it in Little Rock.
  3. I think a Red Robin would be really good in Chenal. I ate there today in Springfield, MO. It was really really good. I think this would be a good addition to the Little Rock area.
  4. Ya Yas looks fun. I cant wait to try it. I hope they have an outside patio as well. That would be really nice.
  5. This would be a disaster to the economy of Little Rock! Macy's, if they did move in to Park Plaza, i would assume would only take one side of the mall. Who would then take the other side. Park Plaza could survive without Dillard's, but not for long. I hope this inst true. As much as i think Dillard's does need a complete revamp, i dont want them to shut doors. Lots of people would be without jobs in Little Rock. I was in dillards this past weekend, and spent quite abit of money. The Little Rock store, being the 3rd largest in the chian, is in need of a dire remodel and revamp. The one in Rogers is so nice and modern.
  6. Things should start to be picking up around the Promenade soon. Lots of store openings this spring. I think the center should be full by next Christmas. The center looked really nice at Christmas. Loved the tree and all the other decorations. Does anyone know when they are going to start on the out parcels? Any updates on the Apple Store? I have been looking at possible locations. I think they would like a bigger store, maybe one in the round about. Any other news.
  7. It looks like Sephora is coming to park plaza. I think it will be a really good addition. I wounder what could go in at the old lubys? Park Plaza, knock on wood, seems to be doing really good right now. I hope it stays that way. It was packed at Christmas.
  8. So has there been a final list out for the stores yet? I find it strange that there isn't a secure store list! I would have expected one by now. But anyways, The center looks great at night. Very Inviting.
  9. Maggie Moos is open. Its right in front of the theater. Good location. ITs all coming together very nicely. I cant wait to see the finished product. About Apple, according to a guy who works at the apple booth in Best Buy, he thinks the store isnt happening. He did say the plan was to put a store in the P@C, but it aint happening. Its only a rumor................... I will believe we get a store when we have a store.
  10. As long as revenues don't fall to much at LIT, i would hope the airport continues on with the remode. It's vital for the future, that LIT be up to par with the airports nationwide. I don't think it would be smart for a new airport terminal, At least not at this time. Airlines will continue to hurt for the time being. I hope SWA doesnt drop its Las Vegas flight. That means we will be down to Denver as the connecting point out west. I hope Southwest will add a flight here and there at LIT. Maybe orlando, or a New Orleans-Little Rock-Kansas City run. I would also settle for a Dallas-Little Rock-Nashville too! Anything would be nice. Schedule as of late september American: Dallas x10, Chicago x4 Delta: Atlanta x7, Cincinnati x3 USair: Charlotte x3 United: Denver x2. Northwest: Memphis x3, Detroit x1 Southwest: Dallas x7, Chicago x1, St. Louis x2, Las Vegas x1, Baltimore x1 Continental: Houston x6, Newark x1 Not 2 bad, but i would hate to see it cut anymore.
  11. Minneapolis ends sometime in September. The flight was operated with a Northwest E-170. The list Continues............ If oil had only stayed below $100, we wouldn't be in this situation.
  12. 3.64!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!! I know my friends have to be happy about that! The cheapest i have seen it is at sams, and thats with my card. 3.89. This is so sad, getting excited about 3.64.
  13. Yea, the theater was just average. I thought it could have been bigger, but it fits the area well. i think its meant to be a local theater. but if UA Breckenridge goes out, then the Chenal 9 will have to pick up the slack. The reason i say this is, when Midtown gets a theater, will UA, Rave, Dickson, Midtown, & Riverdale beable to stay? I would say Riverdale goes before UA. Also the NLR LAkewood is being remodeled. Thats something good. Also, is the theater in Benton or Bryant still open? \ They are starting on the Sign on Chenal for the Shopping center. Corner of Chenal & LaGrand
  14. Went to the new Chenal 9 today. It was great. I had my ups and downs, but over all, a very nice asset to P@C. IT was completely packed, and this was a 10:15 showing. That is a very good sign. After the movie, my friend and I did a little looking around by walking up and down the center of the Shopping Complex. Its very nice. One of the highlights i like about it is the Fire Pit. I think it's going to add a touch of elegance. plus some street side dinning would be great to. I also saw the making of a couple water features. The plantings are all nice. It's moving along really well. I do hope there is music like what you see at Pleasant Ridge. The out laying buildings seem to be progressing. I would assume groundwork should begin once the center is finished. I did notice a list of stores that are for sure going to be in the complex. Those include: Victoria Secrete. J. Jill J.Crew BeBe Lucky Brand American Eagle. Aeropostale Cold Water Creek DSW Portrait Innovations Some Mattress store(Why do we need another matters store?) Maggie Moos A Coffee Shop of some sort. Not Starbucks A Eye Glass store. Limited Too. Claire's. Bath & Body Works Ann Taylor Loft I'm sure there's more, I just don't remember. I would like to see: Apple(some info PLEASE) Fossil Hollister Co. A Department Store aka Macys (Behind the complex) MORE RESTAURANT A couple Boutique shops.
  15. I was looking at the USAtoday website. I ran across a page that had airport seat levels(the number of seats offered out of the airport). LIT is down 15%. Arkansas down 13%
  16. Yea. Delta still serves LIT with a couple daily MD-88 flights. When they filed for Bankruptcy 2 or 3 years ago, they served LIT 7 Daily MD-88 and 737. All mainline. That has now been reduced to 2 MD-88, multiple CRJs, and a token CJR-900 flight. The larger CRJ's have a first class cabin. At one point Delta had mainline to Dallas and Cincinnati. That is long gone. I think once the merger is complete, we will see a shift of mainline from Memphis, to Atlanta, and possibly Detroit and/or Minneapolis. I see after all is said and done, I see Delta serving LIT via, ATL, DTW, MSP, and maybe MEM & CVG, that
  17. Yea, its nice to see NW upgrade something at LIT. I think its crazy having a A320 on the MEM run, which is less than 45 mins. And im glad that the MSP route got upgraded to the E-175. I like that plane. To bad the DTW route cant get upgraded. And as with regards to the merger, i expcet a big shakeup.
  18. I wouldn't hold my breath on AA. They are in a very very very tight squeeze. The MD-80's they use drink fuel. I don't think they would use them on the LIT run, but then again, they use them on the Oklahoma City run. The reason they use it on the XNA route is that they have a contract with Walmart. You cant compare XNA to LIT. It would be nice to see more Delta mainline aircraft. The merger will be interesting. I could see them pulling mainline on the Memphis run, put it on the Atlanta run. Yea, the united route is a bummer. I wish they would add service to Chicago. Im praying that they don't pull out. the Denver route cant be making alot of money. I wish they would upgrade the route. LIT better hold on to its hat. But we arnt the only one that is getting hit hard. Lots of airports have lost flights. Its just sad to see all the growth that LIT has seen go down hill. I think its safe to say that the new terminal is off for a while.
  19. Washington D.C. will get the axe after labor day on United. Another on bites the dust. Orlando Washinton D.c. Phoenix Salt Lake City Frontier Kansas City Cleveland To be continued! Quite SAD!
  20. Its been a while since we have had a rough list of possible stores in the P@C. As we move closer to the grand opening, what are some of them? What are some of the stores that were once said as to have a spot there, but not now. I would like to see if there is an evolution of the stores said to be there, to the stores that are going to be there. Now that the final site map is out for Park Ave, and i doubt Macys will be included, i would like to see a Macys at P@C. I wish we could know some of the out lying stores/restaurants.
  21. The Cleveland flights are going to be cut later this year. Another one bites the dust!
  22. Nails So Pretty. WHY? dont we have enough. lol.
  23. Where can you look at the Plumbing Permits? Whats the Site called? Plus what about an updated site map of the property. all i can find is one from 06, which is way off.
