It will be nice for another starbucks finally and i believe sonic would be great there I work in that side of town and i do love sonic, but having to drive to Milgen Road or Manchester expressway for sonic really bites. Also note that huddle house is moving back into the Columbus Market they are building a resturant in south Columbus next to the newly opened value place hotel(motel) it will be nice to have a 24 hour breakfast like eatery close to the downtown broadway party district. It was really bad having to drive to 280 in phenix city for something to eat after leaving the bars or Macon Road for the closet waffle house.

its nice to see 185 south widening, but traffic flow there is pretty smooth i know with brac it will become more crazy and jammed, but while there is such talk about widening streets the city and state really need to take a look at J.R. Allen Parkway i'm getting sick of bieng caught in the traffic jams there in the morning and evening rush hours i know its a problem with living in a metropolitian area. but almost every friday evening there are traffic jams from summerville Road exit in Phenix City back to Bradley Park Drive and even 185 at times and vice versa in the morning.This does cause a ripple effect in traffic flows on 2nd Avenue with the downtown traffic And driving along 280 in Phenix City is a nightmare it reminds me of Rush hour back in Atlanta all lanes blocked in every direction moving at a slow crawl. These are just some of worse problem areas even though traffic throughout the City of Columbus/Phenix City is getting bad especially on streets like 13th street downtown near the bridge, Wynnton/Macon Roads, Buena Vista Road(nightmare to many subdivisions going up out there) Whitesville/Veterans, and Airport Thruway. North Veterans Parkway/Whittlesley Blvd we already know. Does anyone see this besides me?

I saw all the land cleared away and was wondering what they were building up there nice to know what it is finally. Anyone know what is going up around the new WAL-MART/Sams Club on Whittlesley Blvd in the front next to sams gas station and across the street behind TGI Fridays?

I drove by today when i got off work and took a good look at it. It appears to be a hotel of some sort there are what appear to rooms visible from the street on the second floor just no idea on what kind even though that is a tight spot for a hotel. I was also reading on here from a previous article about the hotel boom and noticed that Country Inn had previously expressed intrest in that area maybe it is them going up there. i'll keep ya'll updated and hope ya'll will do the same

Does anyone have any idea what is going up in the shoppes of Bradley Park behind Quiznos/Goodyear. It has a wierd looking design to it so far?
