I couldn't tell the equipment appeared to be cutting a road down into the woods.Equipment was on the the left hand side if you turn into the campus from Laurens rd.There was also equipment beside Red Roof Inn working back towards the campus main rd.

Clearing has began across from the newly constructed sign and appears to be going all the way back to the red roof inn is this the American Titanium works area

Maybe it was bad concrete or something.Strength tests are usually taken from the concrete and if they don't meet strength then the owner has the option to have the insufficent concrete removed at the contractors and concrete suppliers expence.

From my understanding the Washington Street building is to be used as a customer service hub.

I read another interesting article about carbon motors.It stated that they had contracted with a european company to supply the drive trains for there new car.Could this be BMW and could that be yet another reason for them to build at ICAR?I also read that in 2006 Carbon motors and Georgia tech had some type of deal.I don't know what happened if anything maybe there just shopping the company around to get georgia to give them a larger incentive package.

All you have to do is ride down Holland and the site is already being graded by Strange Bros.grading company.

Anything will look better than that gas station even a empty parking lot.

Has anyone been along the trail at Furman lately. A section along old roe ford road next to the Woodlands has had concrete and pavers placed and it seems to me like it may be a tram stop location.Anyone have any ideas?

This is the new design for all large Spinx stores.Several have been constructed and I have been told that 5 stores will be completed every year.

That I don't know,but It is a very large investment if rumors are true.

I'm not sure where exactly the stage is set up but it could possible be for the St. Francis Medical office park that is to begin construction on July 15th.This is not the hospital but a separate office center.I have heard that News on the Hospital will be coming soon.Someone I talked with told me that the hospital would spend apx 105 million on there campus not including the cost of the land.If that is true It could mean a very significant building.I think the addition at Oconee hospital cost about 60 mil and its 6 stories.

I think both could be worked to fit this site very well.

I hope thats all this is. These developers seem to be the real deal and I hope that this development gets up and running soon.

Sod and alot of irrigation system. There are still alot of things to do prior to opening to traffic concrete crosswalks have to be installed and the surface coat of asphalt still needs to be placed.You can see alot of the progress if you come around to the back entrance off of Woodruff and Rocky slope rds.The asphalt walking trails are in the process of being installed,and the pond should be operational within weeks.Bathrooms are also begining to be constructed.

I have actually been working on this project and it is coming along quickly.The pond should be complete shortly. the contractor is working on completing sidewalk and landscaping continues.

I wonder if this is one of the sites under consideration for the new federal courthouse.

I dont think any one is mad at you tech bus student you were passing info as you recieved it. However If this is true I don't see how it is legal or would stand up in court if challanged.As I understand it each municipality has the right to decide who or what gets developed in their community,and that the state does not have the authority to say no one else can move there business here.

I don't think thats correct or even legal.

I heard recently that Toyota was looking at a major investment at I-CAR im not sure if that means a manufactoring facility or if it means something with there racing development. The rumor I heard was that they were the company that will get phase 2 of I-CAR started.We have all heard over the past little bit that a major anouncement should be happening anytime I wonder if this could be it.My source informed me that the area inside I-CAR would be large and would take a little while to get the facility designed to "fit " inside the development. Take this with a grain of salt, but usually this guy is pretty knowledgable. Imagine the possibilities.

Greenville I agree I think a Powdersville location or southern connector would be great. I also thought about a outlet type center between Greenville and Easley on 123 across from the abandoned golfcourse that is in the redevelopement stages.

Gville the 1225 condos and the 1125 apartments does equal up to the 2350 you read.
