  1. Wow, Beowulf. I feel jealous now. You guys should put these photos on postcards then get Dogs on Wheels to sell them at his hot dog stand or something like that.
  2. Calling on Spartan, calling on Spartan.
  3. You have to remember though, Asheville is ranked as one of the top cities to live in throughout the whole country. If anything, the condos there would sell out in a heartbeat. You forgot about the Riverplace phase 3 tower and the city hall site tower even though we don't know how many stories tall they will be.
  4. The last time NYTransplant was active was on August 12th.
  5. Official announcement: http://www.allegiantair.com/aaNews20060824a.php. It's also on GSP's home page: http://www.gspairport.com/
  6. I said the Greenville News is slow and i'll say it again. Announcement to come at 10 am: http://www.wyff4.com/news/9729299/detail.html
  7. It is Allegiant Air. Man, the Greenville News is slow : http://www.goupstate.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art.../608230366/1026
  8. The announcement is to come this morning. That would be funny if it turned out not be Allegiant Air. http://www.greenvilleonline.com/apps/pbcs....EWS01/608240336
  9. Also, here is some info about the airline company: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allegiant_Air and some consumer comments about the service on the airline: http://www.airlinequality.com/Forum/allegiant.htm
  10. Here are some pics of this airline: http://www.allegiantair.com/aaMediaKit.php -I'm glad GSP is getting an airline that's not well known. It makes our aiport feel like a larger one that can handle these less known airlines.
  11. Don't worry. Jet Blue is still coming here along with this airline too. It's just Allegiant Air is going to come here first, but expect Jet Blue to not be far behind. My guess would be Jet Blue will come here sometime in 2007.
  12. I was at the airport two days ago picking up my dad and I heard somebody talking about it. It might be Jet-Blue, it might not, but I sure hope it is.
  13. Wow, those are all very good points mallguy I hadn't thought of. South Carolina does need to get with it. It seems like the only people in office for this state are redneck hillbilly's with big trucks and confederate flags on the back. Hopefully, people will elect these slackers out of office and get some real politicians in here. I wish somebody would especially get rid of lindsey graham and jim demint, who are our state senators and haven't done crap for this state. All they do is sit on their a**es all day and talk about how the war is great, which it isn't and how we need to widen more roads, which we don't and all this other stupid stuff. Instead of using the money to widen roads, why doesn't the SCDOT use it for mass transit instead. It's about the same price to put in a mile of LRT as it is a mile of road. Are they sick in the head or something?
  14. Thanks for that info, vicupstate and mallguy. Why 2018 if the vision is for 2025? The mostly likely thing that Greenville might get in the next 5-10 years would be CAT buses and high-speed rail. Light-rail is still decades away.
  15. The lights and nice looking garbage cans are now going in along the new Riverwalk between the Main St. bridge and the Hampton Inn and Suites.
  16. Thanks, btoy. Where exactly is this vacant lot located? Is it between West End Field and Augusta St/Rd. on Main or is it somewhere else? I just felt like posting this: -I'm gonna pump you up
