    I was trying not to be critical but it appears they changed the plan which makes me wonder what else they changed (cut). I guess the price of construction has gone up a lot but I was suspicous of how nice this would be after they wanted to move it and it was voted against.

J.Crew moving into the Towne Center Clothing retailer J.Crew is returning to Baton Rouge with a new store in the Towne Center. https://www.businessreport.com/business/j-crew-moving-into-the-towne-center I'm guessing it will go in the former Ann Taylor Loft or Children's Place although there are several other spots.

About 16 people will work in the 34,000-square-foot store at 2760 S. Outfitter's Drive. Kent Design Build and Guidry Land Development are the contractors. Officials with Covington-based American Factory Direct said the store will be a replica of its Lafayette location.

  13. Good assessment. I was thinking the same thing, EBR is draining into surrounding parishes.
  14. Multiple trees around my parents house have been struck at various times. I think I remember they loved for about 1 year or 2 then ended up having to be cut down.
  15. Well now that I'm older and have my own place I understand the nimbys better. But considering Livingston parish is one of the "best" in LA you can't expect to stop people moving in.

  19. I can see that happening. Maybe it can be converted into living space... since they claim there's an affordable housing shortage....Well I an actually believe that, I just don't see them building much affordable housing.

  23. Ha, you didn't get me this year... Mainly because I scrolled all the way down on my phone save read up ! I wish though... As I say, BR usually participates in national trends so if/when they have another skyscraper boom we should get another mid-rise.
