Langley would have to be a consideration. I think 150 feet should be OK though.

Not to mention, there's what? One building in the entire city taller than 150'? There's honestly nothing gained in pushing that envelope anyway. Hampton isn't going to get super tall buildings right now regardless.

Went to this downtown for the first time ever today along with downtown Newport News.  It was small but really nice.  Lots of housing nearby newer apartments, townhomes and SF homes within walking distance of downtown.  Tourist attractions and a hotel. Nice setting.  Plus having a university within walking distance of downtown is good too.  Plus I went to Fort Monroe too.
