Harrisville, Pascaog and Wallum Lake are all part of Burriville. Chepachet is part of Glouster. Hope and Fiskville are part of North Scituite. Foster is not part of Glouster.

Now what we need to do is make a little mnemonic device and put that into a little nursery-rhyme format. You know, like

I before E,

Except after C,

Or when sounding like A,

As in "neighbor" and "weigh."

You forgot a few, here are all of them, from Burillville's official website:

Harrisville, Pascoag, Oakland, Mapleville, Glendale, Mohegan, Wallum Lake, Bridgeton, and Nasonville

Confusing! :D

That's nothing, where I grew up we had all manner of villages and places. In Barnstable there are seven villages; Barnstable, West Barnstable, Marstons Mills, Centerville, Hyannis, Osterville, and Cotuit. Then there are other places which aren't official villages but some have village type things like a village center and a post office; Santuit, Newtowne, Cummaquid, Hyannisport, West Hyannisport, Craigville, Wianno, Oyster Harbors...

  • 2 weeks later...

We got a little story in the projo yesterday:

http://www.projo.com/news/content/rocky5_1...1M.3f9d618.html

I never knew it was so nice, I remember when I was a kid it was that quick place to and just get away on a weekend. A little dirty, but bearable. In those old pictures it looks really nice. It makes me wish they would do something to try and restore it.

I know youare making a movie you probably have this stuff or already saw this site. But the intro song is the most amazing thing ever.

Joe Nisil's page is indeed awesome. That song is just fantastic. It predates me - I was of the "Come with your family / come with your friends...." generation.
