The Bank of America Heritage Museum is opened M-F free and it is real interesting.  Did you know BofA financed Walt Disney's Snow White when no one else would?  It is worth a visit for sure.  
I am back and was briefly uptown myself.   Couple photos from around uptown and nearby.

Charlotte was recently on HGTV.   1 LU was halfway up, but it was cut out of the photo.

I'll call these "uptown randos,"  all taken yesterday along Tryon.  I wanted to capture detail on some of the smaller architectural features.  BTW, the car is a McLaren 720S Spider – could run you a cool $400K.  As always, click on the photo for ultra high-res...may take a few seconds to load.

Must be someone from the McLaren dealership looking for a backdrop for photos (they post pics on Instagram from around Charlotte all the time).  Those things look unbelievable in person, saw an orange one driving past the Railyard on Saturday evening.

This angle is fun. My observations:

• Honeywell will elongate center city in a big way from this angle.
• I think FNB will be completely blocked by LU1. 
• Legacy garage will probably ensure a gap between Honeywell and LU1 remains for a while. 
• Wild to think that Lowe's, Hawk, Square, Portman, Ashton, Atherton are all out of frame/will be out of frame of this shot.
• The new East/West tower should rise just outside of this shot, or barely clip the edge of Dimensional.
• Lending Tree hotel and other TBD building(s) will be nice visual segway into South End.
• Duke will make a huge impact here too.
• Come on Spirit Square!!! PLEASE.

Gap between Honeywell and LU1 from this angle will be filled by LU5 which I'll predict to be an Ascent sized residential building.

There will be a building announced that would fall just behind Arlington from this view, but be taller than Arlington by 90 feet, just taller than Ally.

Also District Dilworth, and a revived 615 East Morehead will fall nicely into frame. Charlotte is going to look HUGE, IF everything manages to stay propped up.
