That's a good question! Soon, I think. The model condo is now open on the ground floor... looks nice. I tried to get some pics without going in, but of course the glass was all reflective.

The one on the right is much older though...I actually applied for my very first job in that building back when it was First National Bank. (dating myself)

That's too funny, I worked for First National way back when, also. They were a great company to work for. I wish SCN had never bought them out, the two banks were like day and night, with First National being much better.

Attack of the giant planters!!!

Great shot. I bet the view from that last unit is great. And I'm sure the planters will look less out of proportion once the plants start to mature. Hehe.

Yeah. The only thing that ruins this shot is, once again, the high voltage power lines.

Those are some massive planters though. Lady St is going to look great in a few years once those trees mature.

Columbia doesn't have powerlines compared to San Francisco, the city that is always on the most favored list for cities to visit in the U.S. Even at the bottom of Lumbard Street, the crookedest street in the USA, you can't get a good picture because of a big fat powerline running across the street. Powerlines aren't the most beautiful aspect of a city, but I don't let them bother me too much anymore after my trip to SF.

But look at the topography and geographical setting of San Francisco. Columbia can't even compare in this regard, which is why it has to do more in terms of aesthetics--which includes burying as many of those power lines as possible.
