I guess I'm going back to my redneck roots, because I've been listening to country music a lot lately.

Right now I'm watching this video on YouTube which has two of my favorite, yet extremely sad, country songs about child abuse: Alyssa Lies by Jason Michael Carroll and The Little Girl by John Michael Montgomery. this is a very awakening video showing a photo montage along with the music.

The world needs to become more involved when abuse is suspected rather than sit silently as so many of us tend to do these days. Abuse shouldn't be tolerated, whether it's abuse against a woman or a child.

Both of these songs really get your inner emotions going, and the pictures add to the effect. They're sad songs, but beautiful at the same time. I highly recommend them even if you can't stand country music.

Those are some great song, SBC, with some omportant messages, too.

They sort of remind me of the movie "beotch Out of Carolina", which has a similar theme to it.
