I had never look at the top of the building very closely until looking at it from the alley between Main and Rhett (does this alley have a street name?) I really like the different views of West End from this alley. Some good views from the hill.

I'd love to the city landscape this alley/street but keep it narrow....an European rambling lane feel.

I don't know the history of it really, but my grandmother has said that she used to go on dates there, including her first date with my grandfather, before she was married. That would have been over 50 years ago I believe. I think it may have been a restaurant and maybe some sort of line dancing place? Not sure about that.

Very cool find. :thumbsup: I love the watercolor......the fact that waterparks existed so many years ago....mostly woooden stuctures....very cool. Wish it were still around today......could be Greenville's version of Kennywood. The topography of the land around The Peddler certianly fits with Dreamland. I've never seen any mention of Dreamland in local history books.
