UPS Adding 175 Jobs in Greenville

Check out todays Greenville News. An article that UPS is adding 175 call center jobs in Greenville. Going into one of the buildings on Halton Road on the Fluor campus.

Ya they arealdy occupy a building at Halton Point, I guessss they are just expanding in the same building.

That is good news! Now if we can just get them to make GSP International Airport one of their main sorting facilities (I'm thinking about FedEx in Memphis, but obviously somewhat smaller) we will be set.

Columbia is already filling that role. At the time, UPS was looking at Greenville, but there was a power struggle between GSP and the Donaldson Center over who would get it. That struggle was at least partly responsible for Columbia getting it instead, at least that is what I have been told.
