A person from Los Angeles is not called a Los Angelino... rather, it's simply Angelino... or Angelina

"Minneapolitan" makes me think of a yummy mini-neapolitan pastry :D

anybody have a clue what's a person from Long Beach called? I heard a person use beach bum once, but I don't think that's widely used for residents in general.. I still consider myself an Angelina, anyways B)

In Lille you are Lillois (Lillese or Lillian ?).

One from Villeneuve-d'Ascq is an Asquois (Asquese ?), from Roubaix a Roubaisien (Roubaisian), from Tourcoing a Tourquennois (Tourquennese) and from Valenciennes a Valenciennois (Valencianese).

Others have mentioned Minneapolitan (minn-ee-a-POL-i-tun) and St. Paulite, but we also have Twin Citian.

Actually I have heard more use of the term "Twin Citizen" than "Twin Citian." Bizarre yes, (I imagine some two-headed but upstanding monster) but also correct given the common latin origins of the words "city" and "citizen."

A Billerican (pronounced Bill-rican) from Billerica (Bill-rica or Bill-a-rica) MA, sister-city of Billericay UK. Some even used to mock it as "Brica" when it was a kinda run down biker town..

I have no idea why the e is silent in the town name to some people or pronounced Bill-a-rica to others. Also the r is pronounced like err, instead ah which is common to the dialect of the region.

You following me here?
