Yeah, really excited about this - should be a huge draw for people to come downtown - what a cool amenity!  The skyline right behind it creates an atmosphere that can’t be beat!

This has now gone vertical and you can see the steel beams from the River.  I didn't get a chance to grab a picture, but I'm sure one of us will drive by it today.

The combo of the amphitheater construction and the CoStar construction together in proximity to one another is just epic. It's pictures like this that were SO emblematic of places like Atlanta in the '70s, '80s, '90s, Charlotte in the '90s, '00s, '10s, Nashville in the '10s, '20s. THIS is the kind of face I want RVA to put forward publicly - showing we are an up-and-coming city on the move and a city on the rise. This is how Richmond needs to market herself. The "keep Richmond in a time capsule a la Charleston or Savannah" method of marketing the city needs to be thrown in the landfill with the rest of the trash (or better yet, incinerated!!!) ... THIS photo - THIS mindset - THIS vibe  - that Richmond is ROLLING forward is the best possible marketing there is.

Honestly - I see this as a living example of "building a better mousetrap".
