About time they add some for sale product over there.  Even up against the train tracks, they should still sell like hot cakes.

Scott's Addition and Manchester both are red hot. They have been for a while and it's great to see that the flame hasn't been diminished one bit - if anything, it's getting hotter. I can't wait to see the results - in both parts of the city.

An interesting perspective - taken from one of the new residential buildings in Scott's Addition. I can't help but wonder how this specific view will look in the next five years as Scott's continues to explode with development.

Spy Rock is now bringing condos into play in Scott's Addition.

eandslee, I believe you and I were discussing this very thing as a needed residential option in Manchester. Nice to see it coming into play in Scott's Addition. Hopefully this cracks open the condo market!

We sure did just talk about this.  With condos, I think SA enters a new level.  It’s not just apartments in SA anymore...it’s becoming a more permanent place to live!  This is a positive sign of good health for that section of the city.

This needs to start happening in Manchester - and downtown as well. Especially in, say, Monroe Ward - perhaps there could be some height pushed with a new condo building. I don't know what the economics of such developments would be - but it's something I hope we see coming to Manchester and downtown in the near future. Glad to see the Spy Rock folks having some fortitude and going in that direction in Scott's. It'll be a nice add to the neighborhood.

True, but it's because the burbs are trying to be more urban.

Very true - part of the process of metro RVA catching up with other metropolitan areas where the burbs have been urbanizing for a few decades now in some cases.

It can be done as long as it doesn't look like Ryan Homes in the middle of Richmond.  The article did say the units will be throughout 67 buildings.  It sounds like each "building" will be roughly two units?  Hence why my reservations.

Let's take our minds off the casino's for a bit @eandslee@I miss RVA@Icetera@CitiWalker

City planners come back with new proposal for Pulse zoning changes.

If TOD-1 could squeeze a few more floors (up to 15-16), I'll be good. However, the Diamond/Ballpark area site HAS. TO. BE. B4 zoning. That is our uptown; I'm calling it.

Hey now, we already have an "Uptown" between Downtown and Midtown at Main and Harrison!

Thankfully, I am not seeing any indication that this is impacting the Diamond, even with the West Grace Street Association reaching well beyond its periphery.   DMV area looks to remain B-4.
