FNB tower shows up nicely in the money shot.

Of  course if they could have done 10 more stories we'd have 4 big towers (~30 stories) instead of just 3.  But they were limited with this site. So were happy with 20.

from my weekend trip highlight reel featuring Durham, Cary, Raleigh and Apex.

on other note given the development and how people cross county lines I wish this was one big metro area Raleigh Durham Cary Chapel Hill  as so many people cross county lines for one thing or another.  I realize it is a CMSA but I think it should be one big metro area and it would rival Nashville in size actually be bigger.   I realize some people only commute to Wake from eastern or northern counties and same thing for some counties north and south of Durham but so many people cross the the county lines between Durham and Wake the 2 core counties.

The Triangle is totally a single region, despite this silly designation of separate regions for Raleigh and Durham.

But Durham leaders wanted it that way because they're butt-hurt about being called "Raleigh-Durham", and now the whole area suffers by missing out for relocations and new projects that only consider larger metros.
