It’s great to see it poking up above the flood wall.
The Current on Hull is already going  vertical too.

I see there’s already a photo of that posted above.  I took a crappy photo last week, forgot to post it.  Coupe’s is much better.

God it is ugly.  Seriously, what is up with the architecture going up in this part of Manchester?  Is there only one architect?

Perhaps I missed this, but found this in the Manchester Alliance minutes from Oct:

Located behind Legends ”340 apartments 8 stories, 2 stories of parking.  The development would preserve the view from Legend’s deck.  Rental prices for 2 bedroom unit $2000.  Single $1200.  Construction projected to open in spring 2020 with opening 2022.”

Caravati's has listed their building for sale, and plans on relocating.  I was looking at an aerial shot of Manchester the other day, and with the development going in near Silo's and the revamping of the canal, I imagine this will get grabbed up quickly.  At 42,000 sf, I think it could make a great food hall! Also, let's set up a urbanplanet fund to buy the underutilized lot across from Caravita's for some rowhomes, install a light art feature to the substation, turn the brick building over the canal into restaurant space, and then upgrade the grass lot into a park.
