  1. Birds eye view of Festival being set up for tomorrow:
  2. Obviously Festival of the Arts needs no introduction. It begins Friday, June 2 at noon and runs through Sunday until about 7. Looks like the weather's going to be great. Any fellow UP'ers going?
  3. No, didn't make it there. Did go to the Thirsty Perch and The Fish Tale, though. Thirsty Perch was great (and cheap).
  4. Jeff, those photos are great. Torch Lake looks like a wonderful place to visit. The weather on Saturday was perfect to check out South Haven for the first time:
  5. Mangiamo! on Lake Drive near Diamond. It used to be the old Gibson's.
  6. A place called Bar Louie is moving into Woodland Mall at the former Max & Erma's location.
  7. Had to add my own from the Kite Festival Saturday:
  8. . These shots look great. I especially like the one below; never noticed that steeple in the background when walking down Monroe Center.
  9. A few more from today: Westminster Presbyterian Ladies Literary Club Seventh Day Adventist Church St. Andrew's Cathedral
  10. Yeah, it will be nice when they're finished. Last week Ionia was closed, but it's back to one lane again. Looking northeast from Select Bank:
  11. From underneath Select Bank & Ionia Ave/Monroe Center intersection:
  12. Another interesting shot from Select Bank: The main roofline of the Select Bank building is taller than Clear Channel's, but that three story raised section in the photo actually makes Clear Channel highest.
  13. Great photos! I especially like the shots of Tre Cugini's umbrellas.
  14. The yellow should be a dead giveaway, but I'm not sure...Azucar night club on Division?
  15. I have a friend who works at the academy and I've actually helped water the flowers around that playground.
  16. Oh! I absolutely know that one. The Grandville Arts Academy!
  17. GRYP just posted their Unwind at Monte's. It'll be happening April 27.
  18. LongHorn Steakhouse on 28th St SE is now open. Great food and not overly priced.
