Nothing to blow your mind but a sweet angle of the hotel and 301. Taken from the Sheraton parking deck today.

Taken from the Dillon parking deck. You can see that they have demo crews at RUSBUS. Hilton is gaining height too!

That doesn't seem to be the correct azimuth for DTD because the center city building is waaaay off to the right side of the frame.

Taken from RDU parking deck. The near building is IQVIA at I40 and Page Rd. What are all of those cranes in the distance?

It would be a nice spot to bring in a 40 story building that pays homage to the circular building. I'm thinking along the lines of the Westin in ATL.

What an eyesore. I could personally stitch a burlap bag large enough to cover this up and it would be less obscene.

Photo; Olde Raleigh - N.C. Cool Facebook page and probably would interest many on this blog if you weren't already aware of it. Edit: this is the old North Hills mall and Beltline under construction in 1962.

Busted a few caps of the 400H site. It's definitely going to make the Hillsborough St approach into downtown a beautiful sight when it's completed. I say now that Raleigh has done it's job with the "filler" buildings. It's time to get those 40+ story buildings.

Looking North from NC Museum of Natural Science. Halifax Mall buildings in the foreground, North Hill in the background.

Nash Square Hotel - corner of Dawson and Martin

Raleigh needs to stop balking at the 40 story developments. Too many parcels are being wasted on 10ish story, quick dollar developments. Wake County is quickly running out of land, and land is one thing that we can not make more of.
