I totally agree. You don't want to be known across the country as a city where you nitpicking every little thing. Developers will stop doing business and then what??? Most major cities buildings do not look the same. But when you are nitpicking a darn HOTEL. It may come at a cost in the long run.

I see what you are saying, but you have a plot of land next door. To be honest that plot of land needs development. It's becoming an eyesore the more we develop downtown. I would love to see another hotel by the AC hotel. Same height maybe more modern in design

The location sucks. Why would you want to hide the building (you will not see it behind the MB) when you have a space right across the street. Tbh those three motels downtown. I know one is the college inn and the other two are close by needs to be torn down..

I can't wait to see the design of the City/County office. I hope they just match the court house on a larger scale for a more uniform looked downtown

I hope all projects move forward. Including the Smith Drug Store, Hotel, building on Daniel Morgan. I wish the city would maybe approach Gibbs to build a larger business building downtown (the city needs to try to lure a company downtown to maybe replan/redraw the Gibbs building downtown. I would love to see a future plan for a downtown venue (Spartanburg Auditorium)

I understand but I feel the city could influence the development without over stepping.. I love the development of Tega Cay/Fort Mill.....It has Apt Homes,Lofts, Hotels, Restaurants, local Shops, Massive Business Office, mini grocery store for the (apt homes, lofts, and hotels) people

I think Duncan Park needs to be overhauled.. Since the Panthers are not coming back, I think DP is a great place to spend money, I think the stadium could be transform and. modernize and host a FCS level collegiate tournament. and even a Regional for the little leagues
