  1. Can you enlighten us who dont have access to CO
  2. My guess is that they are announcing the satellite terminal with a train to connect to the main terminals. This would tie in nicely to when CATS extends to the airport and for when the 4th parallel is active.
  3. Another SEC route in the making, Athens! https://www.onlineathens.com/news/20200224/grant-could-restore-passenger-service-to-athens-airport
  4. Possible service to Columbia, MO in the future http://www1.komu.com/news/grant-allows-columbia-regional-airport-to-propose-air-service-to-charlotte
  5. That is a HOT take, is Nashville the next Pigeon Forge
  6. I agree that Nashville is a tourist destination, but how can Charlotte alter the professional sports world in comparison to Nash?
  7. Not a stupid question, but the airport is funding ALOT of projects, with dozens still in the pipeline. I believe that they would fund other projects where they see an immediate ROI vs. a possible return from an unknown route(s)
  8. Awesome! Thank you for this Hushpuppy, I wonder what other buildings will develop between now and then as well!
  9. Anyone have an update rendering for ~2021
  10. Does anyone have the link to put a down payment on season tix? Or know how much they will be in total yet?
  11. What is being built by the new TopGolf?
  12. I was wondering if anyone was able to put a dollar amount on each area listed in relation to the airports development. Thanks!
  13. ANNNNDDDD HERE SHE IS https://www.wbtv.com/2019/12/05/sources-mls-announce-charlotte-newest-franchise/
  14. Proof that Mr. Tepper will build a great program moving forward. I am sure that this is the first of many to come.
  15. The lighting was all renovated recently, bummed that they took the plane down
  16. Another REAL Good News Report, seeing some action that Charlotte is going to be awarded the MLS expansion on Thursday.
  17. Isn't BB&T Ballpark built so that it could be expanded in the slim chance that Charlotte did get an MLB team? If so, that is a great case for a future expansion or relocation. Along the lines of the Hurricanes, it would be amazing if they moved out of Raleigh. As mentioned by CTiger, PNC is out of the way and sells half of the tickets to students for $15. Something needs to change, and I think that a move down here would boost attendance and corporate sponsors as well.
  18. Interesting read, sorry if it has been posted already: https://www.bizjournals.com/charlotte/news/2019/11/26/a-giant-forms-as-charles-schwab-unveils-its-deal.html If this acquisition does work out, what could it mean for CLT?
  19. It is indeed still supposed to be a hotel. From my understanding, the parking deck will be shared and ground breaking is TBD.
  20. https://thepointsguy.com/news/how-american-airlines-will-grow-its-charlotte-hub-to-more-than-700-flights/ Another great read on the expansion plans for CLT.
  21. Unfortunately it looks like that slot was reallocated to the new BOS-LHR route. However, I am still hopeful for a new INTL carrier in the next 1-2 years. It is a stretch, but AC could add YUL, IB could add MAD, BA could add LHR, etc.
  22. If anyone knows who these fish are, it's you. Can you enlighten us?
  23. https://www.forbes.com/sites/tedreed/2019/11/18/after-building-dallas-american-airlines-eyes-charlotte-for-growth-with-700-daily-departures/ Interesting read on CLT growth. I was not aware that the new A gates were configured for widebodies.
  24. Flew in last night and saw the equipment being put into place at the new A gates. Is the 7 gate addition imminent?
