  1. My wife would go ballistic if I brought that home. She’d say that it’s a symbol of the objectification of women.
  2. Is the Cabaret building still largely intact, or are these older photos? They are great shots by the way.

  4. I’m happy to see the office tower shrink if that means that it will rise now. Anyway, many of Charlotte’s great buildings aren’t tall. Aren’t Fifth Third and 301 S Tryon both only about 450’ tall? One of my favorites, Charlotte Plaza, is well under 400’. I think that Queensbridge will be amazing regardless of its height. One of my favorite buildings in the world is barely over 400’ tall.
  5. Maybe that will change over time.
  6. I’d like to see something like this new JPMC HQ in Charlotte. It would be nice if they build Charlotte’s new tallest tower.

  8. Even though that’s apparently an old building, I’d image that the backhoe will tear that apart in a couple of days.
  9. Fantastic. Hopefully, demolition will commence soon.
  10. Has the area of land that the Cabaret sits on been fenced off? My next trip will be for the Panthers-Jets pre-season game.
  11. Is this a hotel/residential building that’s supposed to rise at LU?
  12. I’d love to see more townhouses in Charlotte. They’re really beautiful .
  13. You’re right. It was from a recent drone video, but there must have been old footage that he included.
  14. This article seems relevant. In my opinion, parts of Dilworth are very walkable, in addition to SouthEnd and Uptown. https://www.charlotteobserver.com/living/living-here-guide/article276899918.html DT Durham, by contrast, which has A LOT of residential development, isn’t remotely walkable. There are no stores, no grocery stores, etc.
  15. I had Durham in mind. It’s a fraction of the size of Charlotte, and yet, they build lots of condos there that are very successful. I think that Atlanta is building high rise condos too.
  16. Manhattan is far greener than people who don’t know it envision.
