So, a few things: 1) Talking about the other teams' players, natch; 2) I took the liberty of halving for the number of games; last time I was a regular at Bulls games it was just over $5k for the seats I referenced, but over twice as many games as MLS (and I judged the number of games for MLS wrong too); 3) It's been a rough morning for me, clearly. I think I've had enough internet for today....

This is insane. For $2,500 one can sit in at mid court in the lower mezzanine of the United Center for the season to watch the best in the world do it. Pub League Soccer for $2,500? Hard pass.

In all seriousness, I have a design that incorporates the Charlotte Crown SM and a hornets nest into Queen City FC, but that would take a couple hours this week I don't have. Luckily, I have it on good authority this is an almost final draft of the logo:

Green is Meck, Blue is Wake (*edit* I inverted Wake to make it easier to compare with Meck; in point of fact Wake is oriented horizontally opposite):- 1,546 replies

Charlotte-Douglas Airport (CLT) Expansion

The new terminal is nice, the old one is janky. Also, the number of food options in the new one is abysmal; Last time I went to The D, I remember walking and walking and walking and having only a handful of choices. Also, it's very cold in The D. So cold. So Cold in The D -

Spoiler alert: almost nobody in Chicago cares that the Fire exist; there''s 10 million people and the average attendance is worst in the league (or it was). The Charlotte Appaloosas should do significantly better.

I guess I won't tell you about the time I spent $10 for a Coors Light at a dive bar across from MSG. Twenty years ago. You kids [shakes tiny fist].... Hot take: OMB makes beer that I personally don't care for. Drinking €3 liters of Helles at Oktoberfest in Munich a few months ago, then coming back through CLT and being reminded of the $9 pint of swill OMB serves at the airport didn't do it any favors in my mind either.

Flights not passengers. Tons of takeoffs, not so many people on those takeoffs. -

Anchorage it is, then. I just reread my post and I sound like an asshole, so I'm sorry; snark was intended but douchebaggery was not. -
Charlotte-Douglas Airport (CLT) Expansion

This week we were supposed to land on an American flight at gate A8 but wound up in the C terminal. So, let's talk about 'C' for a second. We get off the plane and it's dark as hell and one of the passengers says audibly "what is this Mad Max" to which my slightly crazy friend (crazier than me sometimes, which is something) screams "follow me! FOLLOW ME TO FREEDOM!!!" and runs off in the wrong direction of where we need to go next. People behind us were - justifiably - confused as hell, and given that half the plane was connecting, half a dozen people went in the wrong direction. I'm glad that CLT is getting upgraded, but that C terminal looks like something out of Blade Runner right now. -

I know when I've spent tens of millions of dollars on research and development my plans can be derailed by anonymous crapposters on obscure message boards. Hmmmm where should we build our next 100k sf+ building. How about Char... whhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttt? A redditor thinks we might build it in Charlotte??? That cinches it; fudge it all we're moving to Anchorage! -

Apparently Mr. Turner loves some Slim and Swae; that is the definition of "slime green paint peanut butter inside." Unfortunately for him, Rae Sremmurd was talking about a Huracan, not the Lamborghini Odyssey.

I respectfully disagree. Jacksonville is top 15 and Floridians not on the "First Coast" think of it as a stinky backwater. San Antonio is a glorified cow town. Nobody's like, Atlanta is small because its population is only 400k, It will be 30 years - at current growth rates - before Charlotte becomes the size of Seattle ; Seattle TODAY. NBD, but Atlanta didn't become Atlanta overnight, and we'll all be dead by the time Charlotte is world alpha-.- 1,546 replies

My take: Bojangles is associated with Jake Delhomme, and this is the first step towards shaking the stink off the franchise. Or, did you forget:
