  1. That also might just be laziness on the CAD modeler's part. It's one less feature they got to add.
  2. I guess you have to reconcile the two. You can't really satisfy both problems. Adding a citizenship question may seem like a way to do both, but as it could effectively be used to locate illegal immigrants they would be less likely to fill it out, which would then defeat the purpose of the compromise. I am someone that tends to think the "founders are always right" approach is a poor one, but I haven't seen a proposal that takes my position and your position into account successfully. There are estimations of the population of the citizenry, which could be used instead of the census for apportionment of representatives, but I prefer the hard number to the soft one. Soft numbers decrease confidence in the system. Hmmm. I don't know tbh.
  3. Now that the site is stable, I'm pretty sure I like the changes, but I'm gonna wait for an official review.
  4. Well, it doesn't really matter whether someone is a citizen or even here legally. The Census represents the population of the US no matter their status. I didn't think this was controversial to be honest.
  5. Seems... fine to me. I like the shift of businesses from Maitland to Downtown. Sorry Maitland, but the good part isn't the business park west of I-4 anyways.
  6. Things are running smoother on my end as well. I'll be checking the site regularly again. One problem that is still glaring, some users don't have profile pics that are loading properly, which causes there name to become large and over other text. I've attached an image with an example. @Neo
  7. This site is impossible to use right now. The pages take forever to load.
  8. Their website still has them located there: Contact Us | Central Florida Local News | Spectrum News 13 (mynews13.com) I'm not sure if they have downsized though.
  9. The company over at the Space Coast is SpaceX IMO. I'm just judging this based on the codename and my own intuition. Musk already decided to move a good portion of Tesla to Texas. This would be a similar move. Raptor. Dragon. Falcon... Kraken?
  10. A great sculpture of a great man! Can't wait to see the finished product.
  11. Neldon originally opposed the Commercial Crew program, which is arguably the most successful NASA program since the Shuttle. I hope he's learned from that error in judgement. The fixed-price contract model should be the new standard.

Brightline shouldn't stop at either Meadow Woods or I-Drive. It's intercity rail. Sunrail will interface with Brightline at OIA.

    And they are 100% right.
  14. We'll see what happens for the pics. Thankfully The Jaxson has there updates every 2 months.

Always good too see things movingly along.
  16. I agree! The curve adds some character to the area to without disrupting the city grid.
  17. Honestly, for cities the size of Orlando and Jax, the Skyway seems to be worse than Lymmo. Light rail going farther distances and faster than Skyway would work, but the Skyway just doesn't extend far enough outside of the CBD to be too useful.
  18. So is the DIA similar to the Orlando Downtown CRA or DDB? I'm most excited for the Emerald Trail Model Mile project with the new park off Lee. Plus, the Skyway extension to Brooklyn will finally connect it to a mass or riders that are in a demographic more likely to actually use it.

    SunRail

Yeah, but that change happened after I posted that (kinda, it was voted on the same day). Either way, the location is still correct, which is why the reference was given in the first place.
  20. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to check them out.
  21. @spenser1058 I believe you mentioned you're moving to Springfield in Jacksonville. Well I'll be heading up there as well to the Riverside area. A small migration from the Orlando forum is occurring. Sadly, it looks like the Jacksonville section is extremely inactive on UrbanPlanet. Do you know of a local forum for the area?

I realized after posting that the phrase is actually "brass tacks." It's origin is unclear.
