  1. Got a note "a portion of road very close to the Icon located at 915 Division Street has collapsed". Due to the construction here? Edit: https://www.wsmv.com/2024/01/30/road-collapses-near-downtown-nashville/
  2. Are these selling? I've been loosely watching their condo site and I do not see any much movement on their available units list.
  3. It looks like there's ground work and demolition happening at the building next to the chocolate factory and the Pine Street garage entrance. Any word on what this will be?
  4. FYI "Thank you for registering and expressing interest in purchasing a 505 residence. We have recorded your interest. Please note that, because one of our investors is a REIT, 505 must remain rental during construction. Thereafter, after construction-related financing is retired, we will evaluate the conversion and sale of portions of 505 as condos. If you have not already done so, you may now download the 505 Nashville app on your smart phone or iPad from either Apple Store or Google Play. You may also schedule an appointment to experience 505’s VR (“virtual reality”) platform in the 505 Marketing Center on the 29th floor of Fifth Third Center. We are pleased with the progress of construction. Floor 23 was poured last week and, with a new floor being poured every four business days, we are on path to complete 505’s concrete structure by June 2017. Initial occupancy of the lower floor residences will begin October 2017, with all floors available January 2018. Giarratana Management, LLC is pleased to have entered into a joint venture with Lincoln Property Company – the 2nd largest U.S. property manager – for leasing and management of 505. You may now access Lincoln’s interactive marketing tools on the 505 website to review available floor plans and pricing. My associates, Ted Kromer, Development Director, Phil Meadows, CFO, Morgan Stengel, Project Manager, Sam Giarratana, VR Tech, and Lincoln Property Company partners, Tammy Thompson and Bailey Melanson, look forward to working with you to help you make 505 your future home. Thank you, Tony Giarratan" Disappointing
  5. So got push back last time I mentioned this, but I heard again from multiple people this project is off. Anyone else heard?
  6. So, I heard some rumors this site will be scaled back to 6 stories. Anyone heard the same?
  7. I can't seem to find information on this due to the bridge construction overriding all my searches, but what's happening with the lower i40 median construction south of the gulch?
  8. As a Gulch resident, there's a severe lack of stuff that fits my day-to-day needs. I know a lot of my neighbors are into the nicer restaurants and stuff, but there's nothing here for regular use. Turnip Truck is nice and all, but it's expensive and it is difficult for me to commit to their prices - especially since I don't subscribe to the organic lifestyle. I often find myself wanting to walk somewhere to grab a quick, inexpensive bite with no where to go but Subway. I'd love to see a market similar to what Viridian has, but I don't see it happening any time soon with Turnip Truck already in place.
  9. Slightly off topic, but how screwed is Encore between SoBro Apts and Bridgestone HQ? Are most residents going to have mostly obstructed views soon? Their pool seems like it will see little sunlight.
  10. I know this question will be a huge stretch and assumption, but how much, approximately, do you all think a unit in this building will be around 700-900 sqft? (purchase, not rent)
  11. No, because of growth. Even at 5:00 it's not bad. But, 11th is currently the only road that can circumvent going from Charlotte/"North" Side to the 8th S/12th S area without having to hit every major light (church, broadway, demonbreun). Once more people figure this out, it will be slammed with traffic. Having 11th four lanes will allow people not to hit these major intersections.
  12. Is 11th going to remain 2 lanes :-( :-( :-( It really, really needs to be 4.
  13. Chris I am also on the 20th floor - Welcome to the floor, too! I'm in 08.
  14. Music Row to now historic? http://www.tennessean.com/story/money/industries/music/2015/01/12/music-row-named-national-treasure/21626003/
  15. This building seems underwhelming, even if it is pretty. The property location is really the heart of the gulch, and I'd like to see something more substantial here. Also, hotels are boring. Seems like that's the majority of buildings recently.
