  1. I was thinking that as well, but in one of these articles there are talks about bringing a 20,000 sf "Vegas-style Nightclub" to this property. With that and along with whatever the Planet Hollywood Hotel could potentially bring it just might be expanding into that field.
  2. Not the best quality photo, since this was taken by a friend on Instagram, but it's interesting to see the several mid-rise apartment complexes lined up forming the street wall along Orange Ave already. This was taken from the courthouse. Now if only those parking lots and empty lots were not... empty.
  3. I really believe 7-11 is being more aggressive in the area because of Wawa's aggressive entrance (and already overall positive reviews) into the Greater Orlando market.
  4. Architecture of this scale alone can attract more retail downtown, in my opinion. I love it though, modern architecture embracing old Florida characteristics! The Smart Car dealership is such a cool concept to take over that small of a space downtown(but that was 2007 rendering, might not happen at all ). We need more of this modern architecture of this scale to mesh with the old. European cities, and several U.S. cities have done this so well, it would be nice to see this in our own.
  5. For mass transit to survive, it needs to be efficient and inexpensive. So far it is looking like neither will apply, sadly. The idea is great, but it own't be worth it in my opinion.
