BareMinerals is renovating its store.

Pandora, Zumiez, and Aldo opened today. Burger King is coming along. The mall is at 100% occupancy, it's time for an expansion.

On the first floor there are three spaces, the farthest one to the right will be a restaurant with an adjacent outdoor plaza and other two will be office space for anyone to rent. The entire second floor of the building will be the Wealth Management HQ for First Citizens bank

3 retail spaces totaling 6,500 square feet.

The new $15 million student housing project on Pendleton Street that would house 250 students near the Amtrak station was granted approval. Looks like the Palmetto Compress Warehouse will be demolished after all, tenants have until March 31 to vacate the property. Rumors are intensifying that Urban Outfitters will open a store in the former Charlton Hall auction house on Gervais street next to Longhorn

The Hub on Main Street at Palmetto Center A student housing project planned for Main Street cleared a major hurdle Tuesday when Columbia’s zoning appeals board gave the green light for a Chicago company to convert the former SCANA building. The board approved the $80 million proposal by Core Campus LLC to house 850 young tenants in the Palmetto Center after the city and the company presented a plan to make the adjacent city garage where the students will park safer by adding security guards, extra lighting and cameras. The Cosmos Wigs Building is getting a facade renovation. They had a Ferrari at the First Thursday event today.

The new 532-car City Center Garage is still not finished and it is scheduled to open to the public Monday, August 13, 2012.

Actually the Columbiana Sephora will be the first Sephora in the state of South Carolina NOT in a jcp. It will be a stand-alone Sephora.
