  1. The amazing view of Lockheed Martin's aging asphalt parking lot and grazing cows eating behind the Westin will indeed be amazing! Not to mention to the west, you can watch the gridlock of poor transportation design at the intersection(s) of SandLake/I-4offRamp/WholeFoods.
  2. Already posted in the coffeehouse under bars... but... don't forget about Ollie's Public House #2 in the old Perkin's/TommyAddison's.
  3. Somebody please put a freakin' Walgreens or CVS underneath all this residential in this area! Good lord almighty! Horrible!!!! C'mon!!!!
  4. Ollie's Public House #2 / (Finnhenry's) coming to Edgewood (old Perkins,Tommy Addisons). Caitlin is planning for February. Along with the new Friendly Confines (old McWells) across the the street, the fuzz in Edgewood are gonna have a field day with these popular spots...
  5. If they could only get the top ring of Amway to go LED... How hard could that be?
  6. They should of put in Festival Park facing east west in the middle of a field to cast long shadows. Its too obnoxious and out of place.
  7. The Asparagus shines again! The LED's look great. And I didn't loop around DPAC to get a better shot. Grrrr, on me. :-)
  8. Will the Winter Park yuppies still think it "is the place for ribs"? lol

    SunRail

Downtown South... think about it, the only station "ORMC Station to Church St. Station" ain't worth it. (2 mile ride and 5 minute ride?) Take the Free Lymmo or the 7,11,18 up there; And a $10 cab home. Done. Well at least there are several new alternative routes of getting there, all resulting in cab rides home however. :-)

    SunRail

So, when a Magic game gets out at 945/10pm, have both and north and south bound train sitting there waiting at church street. Instant ridership. If they take it down or up to get to the game, how the heck do they get home? Need to run it for weekend Magic games. Run it an hour before tip-off as a one shot deal, and one shot back. Everyone from the north would take it versus I4 and fighting the garages. It could be a pretty cool marketing campaign at games/ concerts/ hockey/ soccer/ bowl games. As far as the holiday schedule and weekend are concerned. Need to adjust with what's going on. You have 65,000 going to a bowl game at 1pm on new years day, run the train 1-up, 1-down. Fare X from SunRail versus citrus bowl parking. I think it should run on July 4th for Lake Eola fireworks also. Think of the marketing for ridership...
  11. Wasn't World Trade Center Orlando thinking of this property?
  12. Thank goodness that pavilion is gone! (Eyesore! Bum hangout! Non symmetric! Only will be used six times per year! You drive south on Orange, and your instantly distracted by it, taking the sight line away from the the actual DPAC. Not to mention the gathering of bums gathered under it to get out of the rain.)
  13. He should of went with "College Park" instead, in my opinion. Add an artistic bike in same steel piping next to it to simulate the bike placement would of been cooler. Just sayin'.
  14. On The Rocks is one and done. "Magnolia" to open this weekend or next week after quick build out and refresh from new ownership.
  15. The bums loitering at the Lymmo stop will enjoy it. Not to mention the glaring wash of light from the bus stop itself, will make for a beautiful illuminated sight.
  16. The Sentinel loves to do this click-through gallery type deals for ad revenue impressions and impressions per page, etc.
  17. Technically it was a Boston Rotisserie Chicken.
  18. That's the new Rick Scott Verizon call center.
  19. A sports bar directly 25-feet across the street from Jeff Faine's deal. Hmmm, I wouldn't bet on that. Church street's battle of 60" inch flatscreens!
  20. I'd eliminate the pavilion thing immediately. It's non symmetrical to the plot and surroundings. Will only be used once in a blue moon for a free WMMO concert and all other times will be a gathering spot for Bums to charge their phones. It will stand out like a sore thumb always closed and limit the space to always have to position events around it. I don't like it.
  21. A Monday at 1pm, a drive by and a pal's hearsay is a far reach for that conclusion.
