Last Friday, THV provided an update on the construction progress at Gateway Town Center. The developer stated there will be be four hotels, half of dozen of restaurants, and some nightlife places at the Grove section. He also mentioned that there will be 24 hour lightning surrounding the development within 6-8 months. Also, Dave and Buster is anticipated to be open by next summer.

According to the Arkansas Business website, Chick Fil- A restaurant will open a location near David's Burger and provided little information on the Grove Development being billed as a place for restaurants, hotels, and entertainment district. It also stated that construction has begun for a Dave and Buster's restaurant near the Outlet Mall. I spoke with one of the security guards at the new Outlet Mall and she stated that Joe's Crab Shack will open behind the Outlet Mall and that there's hope that Cheesecake Factory may come as well. I hope she's right because that would be great news!!

I 've noticed Off 5th Saks and Nike (shown on the original map) is missing on this one. It would be nice to see this listed of stores comes to reality especially H&M, and Michael Kors.

Nice!! I hope Joe's Crab Shack and Cheesecake Factory becomes reality!!! I love both of them and would be nice to see them here so people will not have to travel out of state just to dine at one of these places.

I don't see any affect on the River Market District. There are plenty of developments such as new restaurants ( Soul Fish Cafe) and boutique shops along with entertainment to still lure people downtown area. I'm surprised Cheesecake Factory is looking at this development.

I'm very happy to see Dave and Buster's finally coming to Little Rock. Johnny Rockets will open up a location within the Outlet mall. I hope there will be some other big name restaurants and retail landing in the Gateway Towne Center (ex: Joe's Crab Shack, Pappadeaux, etc).

They need to have some entertainment centers at the Gateway Towne Centet such as Dave and Buster's, Main Event, or Studio Movie Grill. Something that will be fun for kids and adults.

I wonder if Dave and Buster's still interested in coming near the Outlets? There are no confirmed reports of the restaurant chain coming.

I've ate at the the one in St. Louis Mills Shopping Center before and it was pretty good. It's similar to Purple Cow. I was looking at the updated list of stores and notice Johnny Rockets was one of the full service dining restaurant. This would be the first Johnny Rockets in the State. Hope they bring some more full service restaurant that is new to the market (ex: Cheesecake Factory) because the stores listed so far are a huge disappointment.

I'm sure H&M will open a location in Little Rock, AR as well (preferably the Promenade at Chenal or the Outlets at Little Rock).

Sad!! The Promenade at Chenal is not worth even mentioning about!

This is unrelated to the Little Rock Forum, but it seems like our neighbor, Memphis market, is hot in bringing stores/restaurants new to the market that was on Little Rock's wish list. I mean first it was Ikea, then H&M, Nordstrom Rack, and now Cheesecake Factory! I may be driving to Memphis quite often!!!

It will mostly be located on the Outparcel portion of the Promenade at Chenal. All I can say is finally, after all these years, they bought something that is new to the market. Hope they can bring Cheesecake Factory but that won't happen.

Another bad news for the Promenade. Seems like the Promenade is struggling to bring new to the market tenants at the center (other than Home Goods Store which is nothing special). Maybe an H&M store can take the former W By Azell space.

Any suggestions on those two restaurants above?

Cavender's is suppose to be a tenant outside the mall property along with a proposed David's Burgers Restaurant.

That's good to hear. I'm wish Houhilan's or Willie G's Seafood and Steak open a location in the former Bosco's space. What do you guys think?
