TD Bank creating at least 1,600 new jobs in South Carolina TD Bank announced plans Wednesday to put a regional hub in Greenville and create 1,600 new jobs in South Carolina over the next five years in one of the largest job announcement in the state in recent years. Company officials said the bank is expanding its corporate offices off Interstate 85, adding 1,400 jobs there and 200 jobs in Lexington. GSA Business is reporting that the $80 million investment and 160 new jobs will be in addition to the $10 million dollar investment and 50 new jobs announced by Bosch last year. PeopleMatter moving international headquarters to Upper King Street; at least 265 new jobs on way To further go into detail about the above post, the software company coming to Upper King St. is PeopleMatter. The company will renovate the historic building at 466 King St. and will build a new office building at 468 King St., where Beer Works currently sits. RITZY CONDO COMPLEX COMING TO DOWNTOWN.... "As with One Vendue Range, the plan at Concord Park is to build 49 pricey condos -- expected to sell for just under $800 a square foot -- on property near the water, adjacent to a city park. The main difference is that the condos at Concord Park would share a building with a 70-room hotel, restaurant, spa and other businesses. That means someone living in one of the condos could pay for housekeeping, order room service, or have someone collect their dry cleaning. That's the "on steroids" part. "We really believe that the market is there," said Seinsheimer, of Johns Island-based Dolphin Architects & Builders.
