I noticed a few posts here about Mangia! Mangia!, and I felt compelled to say that it has reopened on the Northeast side of town recently (way out in Elgin, actually). I ate there a couple of weeks ago, and although it was far too cold to sit outside (the courtyard looked really nice), the food was excellent, and it is owned by the same guy as the one in West Columbia was. http://www.mangiamangiacolumbia.com/ On a completely separate note, El Chico reopened on Monday after a fire a couple months ago. They stripped out all the decor from inside and it looks like a totally different (and much more contemporary) restaurant. Menu and happy hour specials are the same (as far as I can remember) as before it closed.

The renaming is part of the rebranding of Colonial Life (which officially changed it's name this year). Seeing as how they're paying $500,000 annually to the university for the sponsorship, I'm willing to grant a little latitude.
