I'm sure Jim Ukrop would not like it but I would love to see Wegman's come in!

Does anyone think that as RIC grows it will help the metro area grow even faster in the next few years? Will better air service spur even more corporations to locate here, therefore adding even more jobs and people? In that past it seems like there has been a chicken and egg thing going on: Some corporations bypassed Richmond because of air service, therefore the airport stayed small as more people were willing to drive to other airports. What does everyone think? Have we solved a problem that will help us grow even faster?

Thank you for posting all of this information. I wonder if there is something similar happening in Buffalo? (Or is Buffalo in much worse shape than Pittsburgh?)

How low do you think Pittsburgh's metro population will drop before it starts going up again? What factors do you think will lead to Pittsburgh once again experiencing population growth? What do you think the future of Pittsburgh will look like?

Fox "News" isn't biased, is it? They are "fair and balanced" right?

Why do you like Wal-Mart so much, BURT? They have helped to drive thousands of American manufacturing jobs oversees. Do you think big business should be able to do anything it wants just for the unalienable right to make shareholders happy at any cost? When Wal-Mart workers in one store tried to form a union they came in and closed down the store to put those workers in their place and make a point to all their other workers. THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE AGAINST THE LAW. Why isn't the federal government looking into it? When will American workers stand up and take what's theres? Without Wal-Mart thousands might actually be able to get a GOOD job with GOOD pay.
