I was told construction was to begin at the end of this month. This is a total joke if you ask me. Oh well....thanks again for the upteenth update on this UC. I really do feel a bit sorry for Verna. I know he has to be a bit embarassed by all of this.

yes... read back through this thread, and you'll see that that update on the website where they push the dates out to about 30 days in the future has been happening for a long long time.

most of us are assuming this project is dead, but it is always nice to see that at least someone is updating the website to keep the dates in the future... it would just be better if they'd stop updating their website and start updating their building site

Yes. I believe that is a likely indicator that the Park is now officially not happening. That is consistent with what has been posted before... that if construction hadn't started by the end of september, that all the buyers had to get their money back and were free to walk away (i think that is how it went).

nope... they were released for sale sometime in the year 2000. they just haven't sold. the rest is spin.

Why is there still word going around about the Park still going forward at the end of this month? They need to just let it go. Heard from someone that they are still "saying" the Park will be built. Will this project ever die?

Any ideas on why the Park can't sell condos, when everyone else in the downtown area seems to be able to sell almost anything at very high prices?

At first I thought the Park was doing very well, but after a few too many setbacks I think people lost confidence and finally I think they got their money back. If this still is built Ill be very surprised.
