It looks like Fresh Market HQ will indeed stay in Greensboro and move to downtown in the Wells Fargo Plaza according to reports in the Triad Biz Journal.

To have the largest 2 Japanese manufacturing companies with huge facilities in the Triad is just great.   Toyota is the largest Japanese manufacturer and Honda is #2.  Hopefully Japanese PM goes back to Japan and when he hears of US expansion he will mention NC and Greensboro in particular.

Yes for that very reason the Prime Minister's visit to the Triad and North Carolina in general is a really big deal on so many different levels. Certainly beneficial for the Triad because it is lesser known than the Triangle.
