Does any body know why the Mid Med lofts are now selling office space instead of lofts?

I believe they incorporated retail, office, and residential in the building. Maybe they sold all of the residential units already.

I know the whole ground floor of this project is retail.

Wayne State is expanding their medical education building. The buildings that are there right now are ugly and this isn't really helping except that it is adding some glass.

Anyone know why the large construction crane was taken down at the South University Village Project? Hopefully, it was just for the pause for the holiday season and nothing worse.

I'm starting to wonder if the Studio One Apts will be ready for move ins in April. They only have 2.5 months to polish everything off. On an optimistic note however, some of the windowframes have been installed, which makes the facade look even nicer. I think once all the detailing is complete, like glass and doors, lighting fixtures, signs, awnings and street modifications, the place will look pretty cool!

I think once major construction is done the actual building out of the apartments will only take a few weeks.

Thats the beauty of precast... once the new crane gets going in full swing, the rest of the building should be 'sealed' in no time... I didn't know windows were going in already! Thats exciting news

Well, just the frames. I don't see any glass on it yet. The building really is "filling in" the block well to create a nice urban space. And being it has one more level and one more 1/2 to go as well!

Um, I think it would be built into the street, hudkina...unless, you're proposing some sort of anti-gravity train of the future?

Thanks for the updates! I was going to ask if you could snap some new pics of Studio One (our field report pictures are crappy). I'm not a huge fan of the green tinted glass but I do like the deep red frames.

That's a green tint? I would have never guessed. I don't mind the red frames, but I imagined them to be sharper if they were black. No complaints, though.

Las Vegas. Moved here just before my junior year in HS as my dad's work completely evaporated in the Detroit/Toledo area. Currently an undergrad at UNLV, with almost all intent on moving back to Detroit. I was actually born in Toledo but I lived in SW Detroit for 9 years.

Greektown going up much slower than we'd all hope but everything else looks like its going along nicely.
