I was having so much fun strecthing other building, I decided to strecth some other buildings in Louisiaana.

Here's the State Capitol. It looks kind of freaky, like it took some Viagra.

Here's One Shell Square, as tall as it's counterpart in Houston.

Here's the AmSouth Building. I think it looks the best.

Cool idea, Dan! And I agree with you about Amsouth Tower, it looks like that would be a great design for a tower, no matter how tall it may be.

But just a note, you do know that One Shell Square in New Orleans is only 18 feet shorter than One Shell Plaza in Houston, right? ;)

We're having a beautiful, cool, and crystal clear night here in SE Louisiana, complete with a full moon. I decided to go out and enjoy the night, and ended up taking over 50 photos of the moon using my tripod, in order to se what I could come up with using different shutter speeds, exposures, zooms and positions, etc.

Here are some of the different pictures I took through the night:

I was talking about the JPMorganChase Tower.I thought the New Olreans tower was based off of the Houston JPMorganChase Tower. I thought I had read that they were based after each other, but I guess I got them confused with something else.

One Shell Square in New Orleans is almost an exact copy of One Shell Plaza in Houston, which was built one year earlier and is only 18 feet taller. They both obviously contain major offices of Shell Oil. Both towers were designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP.

One Shell Square- New Orleans

Built: 1972

Oh, I didn't even know Houston had one.

I've tried taking some pics like that Dan. A full moon can be a bit hard. You can get too much light reflecting off the moon around such a dark area the camera has a hard time using the right aperture setting. My best shots have come putting the moon slighlty behind a tree. You can get some interesting shots like that.

That's exactly what I tried to do when I first went out at about 9pm. I agree though, you can definately get some great shots with the moon behind a tree, especially a full moon.

You can get some shots of a totally exposed full moon, but you have to work the aperture and shutter a bit so it doesn't end up being too bright and overexposed.
