Reminder - Entergy will not repair street lights unless you report them

Earlier this year, I reported that all street lights at the 110/Airline interchange were out.   They only just recently got repaired.   The city does not report street lights or conduct any audits; so it's up to the citizens to do it.    You do not have to be a resident of EBR to report broken lights in EBR.

Remember to report that lights are out here at the link below if you see an issue:

 ReportOutage (myentergy.com)

Entergy is responsible for maintaining the street lights and replacing bulbs; not the city/parish.

Yeah Cajun ...have had to call Entergy several times when my neighborhood street lights are out. They have been good about tending to it.

Not enough people seem to be proactive waiting for someone else to call.

Thanks...hopefully Louisiana will have another quite season like last year.

Yes indeed, I didn't know that you have to report  street lights on major thoroughfares.

It blows my mind that these are not periodically audited and maintained.    How can they possibly know how many Mercury Vapor bulbs vs High Pressure Sodium bulbs to order vs LED vs whatever other nonsense they are using?   Entergy might be worse to deal with than my local government.   Like eventually a pothole gets filled.   Street lights never seem to get repaired.

Lights on residential streets get noticed more often.   The lights along the freeways seem to just go months if not years before they are repaired.    The I-110/US-61 interchange was completely in the dark for years until recently.
