White Lodging seems to be only building  new hotels and almost all high rises and clusters them in certain markets for example like Austin.  Look at their hotels there and how many brands and even dual brand hotels they have built there.  Hopefully this will be a tall hotel room with lots of rooms.  12 hotels 10 restaurants 5 rooftop bars in Austin alone.  I think our market could have a couple more then their one JW Marriott which is extremely nice.  

Hospitality Jobs in Austin, Texas | White Lodging, Austin Careers   they do locally based or curated restaurants and bars to be a part of the community not just a hotel bar or hotel restaurant.  Lots of rooftop bars too.  check it out.

Amazing news!  Is this the lot next to the MacLaren showroom or the one next to Tavern on the Tracks?  I’ll be there for the Panthers/Falcons game and look forward to scoping it out.

it is office and apartment tower but the office is on ice unless tenant is found.  the apartments might move forward on an empty lot on Bland by the tracks.

that Patagonia store must be going to look great with lots of new windows on that side.  

Lowes Tower still my favorite office tower in South End tied with Spectrum's Vantage Southend.    No wonder both these office complexes are 100% leased both office and retail.

Check out how this Chicago developer is going big here in Charlotte with 4 projects 3 in Southend and 1 in Elizabeth.  At least one of these is a tall high rise on South Blvd.  But I was not aware of this Senaca Place shopping center redevelopment.

Centrum Realty & Development – New Projects (centrumrd.com)

Their site in Dilworth is for sure a high rise 30 plus stories.

It's always nice to see something further down South Blvd get shown a little TLC, the area definitely could use some sprucing up,  but this just looks like lipstick on a pig.

There’s been a definite slow down of new planned High Rise Projects breaking ground but that aside, it’s pretty impressive how much is actually under construction throughout Center City (Uptown, Dilworth, SouthEnd).  Many of our peer cities would love to have as much going on (looking at you Jacksonville)

CBJ reports that the last day of operation for Tyber Creek will be March 18th.
