KJHburg
Downtown Fort Worth looks great. Clean and busy on a warm sunny Sunday afternoon. Downtown and Sundance Square. Today. This downtown seems more alive than downtown Dallas. Lots of new residential in older buildings. Great retail and restaurants.

KJHburg
The Stockyards north of downtown today. 2 new hotels are being built in the district including an extension of Stockyards with Mule Alley which among other tenants includes a Shake Shack (that is funny to me a NYC based burger chain in the heart of Stockyards district) plus new 200 room Hotel Drover. https://mulealleyfortworth.com/ https://hoteldrover.com/ This area was packed with tourists today and with this expansion getting even bigger.
rancenc
Great collection of pictures. I was actually in nearby Arlington TX two weeks ago on business but unfortunately did not have time to explore the area. Was able to see the skyline of Fort Worth from my hotel room though.
The ATX
Nice photos. Forth Worth and San Antonio get some criticism from skyscraper nerds for their lack of new skyscrapers. But the downtown street activity in both cities is far better than some cities with much larger skylines.
KJHburg
If I was doing the power rankings of the downtowns of Texas the best would be not in any particular order Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio. Both the larger cities of Houston and Dallas are way behind in street level and residential mixed uses in their downtowns. Uptown Dallas outside of downtown is pretty active at the street level and high rises but not so much downtown Dallas.

Awesome skyscrapers but built on plazas away from the street or designed with minimal street connectivity. The Williams Tower in Houston is one of my top five favorite skyscrapers ever, but it was and somewhat still is a lone sentinel.

KJHburg
Multiple photos of downtown Fort Worth where the Aggies where they were having a Texas Aggies parade for their game later that day. The stockyards is great and saw the cattle drive for the first time. Don't tell Dallas but I like downtown Fort Worth better. New high end boutique Marriott hotel at the Stockyards now the Drover. It is really nice.

KJHburg
Fort Worth today downtown rolling into downtown, along the Trinity River. Check out those Express Toll rates ouch! I went north on I-35W and it was moving pretty good. Check out that new Carvana tower in north Fort Worth!
Popular Post KJHburg
Downtown Fort Worth is great. First time to the FW Water Gardens, the new Texas A&M building, and large hotels like the Omni. Oh, today all the streets closed off in and around Sundance Square for an auto show. They said it was a record number of entrants. @nicholas you would have loved it block after block of show cars from antiques to brand new ones And yes I like downtown FW better than downtown Dallas despite their taller buildings. Enjoy the city and its buildings and parks and the cars! 4
KJHburg
The Shops of Clearfork and this whole area is really nice. Nice greenway along the Clear Fork of the Trinity River. Nice view of the downtown skyline from here too. All apart of the huge Edwards Ranch development. KJHburg
The Stockyards of Fort Worth from this weekend. I have been here every time I come to Fort Worth and will in the future as well. Just love this area and evidently, a lot of other people do too!
