Both NC Ports do Not have bridges for ships to go under like most ports including Baltimore.  the Wilmington port is downstream from the Cape Fear River Bridge and Morehead City which handles lots of break bulk is open to the ocean via an inlet and again no bridges to go under.

Good news for Wilmington and lets hope they make this permanent.  I am sure they will return to Baltimore but maybe more of their cargo can come through NC Ports.
