I've noticed while driving by recently that they've been moving dirt around near the 60th and East Paris intersection.

Does anyone know if this is related to the liner buildings they initially proposed?

ICYMI: They are indeed starting on this additional building. https://mibiz.com/sections/real-estate-development/switch-begins-construction-on-second-data-center-at-gaines-township-pyramid-campus

I also found this tidbit on my way down the rabbit hole:  https://www.datacenterknowledge.com/archives/2017/05/25/switch-plans-gigantic-atlanta-data-center-campus

"The future data center in Atlanta will be to Switch’s Grand Rapids, Michigan, site what its Las Vegas campus is to the one in Reno, Nevada, meaning it will be one of two East Coast locations that are far enough from each other to enable a resilient, redundant application topology across two geographically separated sites for its customers."

Haven't heard or read anything about Switch and their proposed expansion since last year as mentioned in the last couple of posts above from back then.  But the last month or so they've been going gangbusters putting up the shell of a massive ugly concrete panel building just west of the pyramid.  The size is impressive but it's not going to be nearly as pretty as the pyramid.

So I climbed up on a couple of berms on the north side of 60th Street both with dangerously overgrown vegetation and took a few photos.  Not the best photos, the sun was shining right in the view finder so I couldn't see what I was shooting.

I just drove by there recently and saw this. The curved roofs are interesting. I'm wondering if anything is going to be added to the exterior, or if it will just be pre-fab concrete like the castle?
