you mean for good? I love that bar :shok:

That's what I heard yesterday.. i'm hoping that we can stop this rumor... b/c I've been going there since day one, and still enjoy the cheap drink specials midweek. I know they stopped doing live bands, b/c they were "losing money" on em...

As far as I know, those two guys own Monte's, O'Tooles and at least one building in between? I think? So if it is closing, I'm sure it's just so they can open up a new bar and get the hype back up... I would think.

/now I want an O'Tooles burger.

Monte's is closing for 90 days to remodel the place. O'Tooles will remain open.

:yahoo: so was I right? :whistling:

Either way.. good :alc: Now I'm curious as to where you got that info, since everytime I ask about plans there, they are very hush hush..

I wonder if it'll get renamed... hint hint GRGridGirl...

90 days is a long time.. I'm sticking with my combine the two "buildings" into one big ass place. Although they may have to get approval for that, which I'm sure someone would notice on city meeting agenda's...

maybe not..

Some people are a little more involved in the design/development industry then others :whistling: I have to say the most interesting aspect of the last meet-up was finding out who people worked for.

They are going to make one big-ass megaplex there then. Business must be very good.

That was what I had heard a while ago when the bought the middle building. That WAS going to be a San Chez type place, with a large adjoining bathroom area downstairs. Knock the bathrooms out of the back of Monte's to open up more room.. but that was rumor 3 or 4 months ago

Yes that's true, but that is not always the case for me. I know about many different things that are not related to work.

I will never reveal my sources..... I will say it's not from work. (YO, it's my "Jenny on the Block" street knowledge)
