I heard that the cost of the second deck will be a lot higher due to construction cost increases. This sounds stupid but I would rather not have a huge Southwest presence because I don't want to loose the US Airways hub, anytime in the future. The best solution would be to have a minor presence of low fare carriers to slowly lower Fares, rather than abrubtly lower fares. We would have the enplanements of Kansas City or Memphis if US Airways was replaced with a lot of different airlines with fewer routes.

The undergrad size of UNC and Charlotte is within a couple hundred people. Both about 24,500.

I like these mini rises. Although I don't like the ones along Fenton Place. I like the ones on Roswell instead, just from a style aspect.

Absolutely amazing! I am thoroughly impressed! Besides the Downtown campus, the University should work on improving the name recognition within the state and within the southern region. I believe a name change is neccisary. I think these buildings and an improved campus will naturally lead to much more recognition. I am proud to say that we have UNCC in our city, and state. Before too long it will be mentioned in the same sentence as UNC, Wake, Davidson and Duke. It may already be mentionable with state!

I know Rodriguez is a joke. But Charlotte was the brunt of the joke.

Atlanta's Fox 5 acted pretentious in Ken Rodriguez's "Snubbed" report of the HOF. He said: "We'll have to wait and see if (sentimentality) is enough to keep the lights on inside Charlotte's Hall". That really made me mad (as a Charlotte native) when I heard it.

It really was. France acted like "I don't wanna be here right now" or "Come on guys just hurry up". McCrory was more intresting than anybody. He looked more poised than Easley. Being Gov. might be in his future... It doesn't look like the HQ is comming though only NASCAR's licensing office and sport's media operations, which would be good. 300,000 Square feet. Maybe 20 stories? The lot isn't too big, I don't think. How many do y'all think? This is a great addition to an already solid plan.
