    NFL Talk

Dallas laid the smackdown on Green Bay, now they're the top dog in the NFC East. Right now, nobody can stop Dallas. If we face New England they'll get it too. Sean Taylor has made his share of mistakes and from what I heard of him, he's made amends. Sad to say some jealous beotchs decided to take him out. People can't stand others doing better than them so they decide to end his life. I hope the clown(s) responsible for this are found and brought to justice. Florida has that 10-20-Life law so you know if the criminal gets caught, he's going away for life.
  2. A lot of people underestimate Baton Rouge but they get down up there. From a crime standpoint, Baton Rouge and N.O. have had the highest crime rates in the state. A lot of why Baton Rouge's crime is ahead of New Orleans' is because post-Katrina, some evacuees are up there jacking, trying to take over. Those clowns make New Orleans look bad.
  3. Glen Dorsey should have dug off in Chaz Ramsey's ass (no homo connotations). I commend him for being a warrior but stuff like that, you can't let it slide. I'm not gonna lie, I would have beat the s*** out of Ramsey
  4. I know you got your shine on with some women, right
  5. Certain sections of N.O., the wards and projects do resemble Baghdad. Choppers make music, people start dancing.
  6. Put it like this; If 350 people were getting knocked off daily in New Orleans, we would have 10,000+ murders at year's end. The police, as crooked as they are, would never let the violence get that out of hand. At least we aren't South Los Angeles, Rio or Bogota, all of which have more murders and crime than N.O. could ever have. Everything else is looking up for New Orleans, which is a good thing. People haven't given up on New Orleans and that's good.
  7. I'm not clowning the Saints because I'm still gonna support them through the good & bad, but we had no business losing to cupcake teams like St.Louis & Houston. The Rams are worse off than us and we lose to them. Texans can be good when they want but they're another cupcake team. P.S: My other squad the Dallas Cowboys held it down against the Bills, although they almost lost when Romo threw that bonehead interception.
  8. I like the idea of N.O. & Baton Rouge metro regions merging.
  9. With all this development going on downtown & in the CBD, our CBD could be up with the big dogs like Dallas, Houston and so on.
  10. For A Minute-B.G. feat. TI When I get home: No One-Alicia Keys. Girl got them hips
  11. Abandoned ambulance, "5th Ward" graffiti -Central Houston -South Park, Houston. MLK. Northside -dilapidated structure on Houston's Northside Note: These are from flickr.
  12. The Saints have lost their swagger.
  13. N2Gether Now (Neptunes remix)-Limp Bizkit feat. Method Man.
  14. K-Ville. If you haven't seen the premier episode of K-Ville, you lost. The first episode started off with a bang and I expect that trend to continue. It showed New Orleanians trying to move on from the storm. Unlike a lot of TV crime dramas, this one is real. It deals with real-life crime issues that N.O. faces, such as the lady who got shot in the Quarter. This is a hit
  15. Not only practice, but going over game film to see what mistakes were made and how they can be corrected should help us get back in the game. Hopefully the Saints won't go 0-3 because then, our playoff chances may be shot. On a side note, Dallas (one of my other squads) put a hurtin' on Miami so they're 2-0.
  16. The Saints were decimated, bottom line. That's a vertical leap if I ever saw one. That's gotta be 40 inches or better, which is about what I have.
  17. This is by far some of the best news since Katrina. For once a major development that has no reliance on tourism. The jobs created will be well paying jobs. There is sure to be an influx of talent to work in these great facilities. The surrounding area will be positively impacted by creation of support businesses. The neighborhoods in the immediate area will be home to persons who will be financially able to maintain properties right off of Canal St. I can't believe people are saying Canal St. is unaccessable. Canal St. is propably the most accessable area in town. Busses, street cars, new parking garages will all be there. How good is bus service to Ochsner hospital? Take a ride through the historic neighborhood and see how much is something that should be preserved. A lot of properties owned by absentee landlords who prior to the storm showed little respect for their tenants and after the storm have shown they don't respect the city or their neighbors who have come back and tried to reclaim their properties and their lives. Thank you LSU & VA. Progress at last.
  18. This recording studio is legendary. First opened in '77 and remains closed, post-Katrina. It's on Washington Ave. near Xavier. A lot of greats have put it down here, Fats Domino & the Neville Brothers to name a few.
