I work with a lady who is opposing the apartment complex... she's like 64... whats the deal with old people.. I argued with her about it half the day.

look high in the sky for something I thought was unusual! a red disc shaped object. one of my favorite pictures that I took during Rockets over the red and also some more that I took..not bad for my first attempt at fireworks! enjoy! Im usually on the shreveport side.. last year I was in plain view of the barge that set off the fireworks.. the lighting there can suck too but all you have to do is take a jacket and put it over the light

now thats a different angle!

I will definately be taking my Olympus out to the fireworks! I can't wait! If I suck at it my camera has a FIREWORKS mode but so far the night scene feature was a let down.. I think when I tamper with it long enough my night shots were better.. anyhoo .. I'm pumped! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Hey I noticed tonight there is a mass of construction equipment on that big lot off of bert kouns and I-49.. what is it I wonder?

I'm tired of the construction I have to drive by there everyday... and to be honest with you...I don't think I like the design of the building... anyone else think it's kind of plain?

I'll take the camera back again on a friday night the top is never opened now.. I think if they sell around 6,000 they call it a sell out for league standards.

that was on a weeknight and during the State fair... The mudbugs have one of the highest attendances of all the teams in the league.. but yeah the league only avgerages about 3,000 a game.. the century tel center holds like 13,000 lol so it looks a little empty!

yeah I have an old neighbor who mows my yard all the time... I paid him like 20 bucks once, he just keeps doing it.. he says hes retired and bored.. more power to him! about moving out of state it maybe a year or 2 down the road. My wifes family lives in Alabama.. at first I fought it, but it's just beautiful in the northern part of it.. plus my wife is capable of making much more money there. Huntsville is a hotbed for Technology.. it's kind of like Austin. There is a spring that flows from a rock in downtown that forms a big lake right smack in the middle of town.. the tenn river is to the south and moutains to the north.. I love Louisiana though.. I'm always going to be rooting for the Saints and Tigers!

I know how you feel.. my wife and I are in our 20's I think the average age here in ole southern gardens is about 60! We will probably be moving in about a year or so.. sadly maybe out of state.

yeah I was driving down I-49 yesterday thinking the same thing! what could they be doing on that land? That was originally the land that Brookwood Baptist was going to build on.. but they got the better property. I've also noticed that there are a lot of nice homes near where that new church is going to be.. those things seem to pop up over night! It would be awesome if they could build a nice modern looking office building there or something..
