well half the houses we were shown were abandoned with boarded up windows and the one that was remodeled we thought about buying.. I saw people drinking 40 oz. while walking down the road in the middle of the day... I don't want any kids riding their bikes on the sidewalk with that... I found a nice place in bossier cheaper in one day after months of looking in shreveport.

me and my wife tried to find a place to live in Shreveport in our price range.. I wanted to live in Shreveport.. everytime we were shown a home.. we were scared to exit the car when we got there. we found a great home. I love Shreveport.. don't get me wrong.. but if you're starting out.. bossier just seems much safer. I live in Southern Gardens and older low income neighborhood.. I don't hear anything but trains and planes.. I love it though.

oh yeah I know south bossier is growing quite a bit.. it's just homes really.. the older folks here don't want business here.. theyre afraid of more traffic. I've attended a south bossier meeting and that was a huge concern for them. I live in an older neighborhood.. and it's actually getting nicer.. sure you have some homes that are falling apart.. but I wouldnt live anywhere else.. quiet if you can get past the trains!!! you can't find this kind of neighborhood in shreveport without CRIME

you'd think that Airline would be getting at least expanded.. They are going to build a new Parkway highschool near sligo road that's supposed to be huge and south bossier isn't growing nearly as much as north bossier.

I've been driving by there every tuesday night.. wondering what was going on there... only concern is that there are a lot of trailor parks all up and down that road.. hope it doesnt discourage travelers as they come into town.

hey about that pier 1 import... I noticed that the one that closed down on Mansfield road is becoming a big fitness club! lol I hated that building to sit empty.. I thought it was pretty neat looking!

another great fog this morning! I got up at 5am made my way to Cross lake to watch the sun come up and on the way home I stopped by my favorite thing to shoot... The Texas Street bridge... the Red river is quite high and flowing hard... it's foaming! If I had my camera's ISO setting that high it would look like CRAP!! lol thats what I get for getting a cheap camera! I think when I get a new camera eventually it's gonna either be a CANON markII or a NIKON D200

man we make parking tickets for 9 out of 10 parking garages.. heck we even pring tickets for companies in KUWAIT! some of our biggest jobs are for the Long Island railroad and SEPTA south eastern penn transit authority.. we just got done with NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE tickets.. yeah... when I tell people we print parking tickets they think I'm talking about tickets that cops use.... spitter tickets hang tags mag strip you name it we make it!

hey I drove by that area thats being cleared off of bert kouns and I-49.. I saw a sign but couldnt read it very wel... it said "something VILLAGE" contractors name or eh I dunno It's a big property being developed I know that!

right outside of downtown when you cross the bayou.. I work at Southland Printing.. cant miss it.. big green warehouses n such.. we are between north market and airport drive.

I drive through downtown every morning at about 5:00am.. I have seen some pretty crazy things let me tell you!!!! I've seen people urinating on buildings leaving clubs.. I saw the accident scene the other day.. I've even seen a crime scene over near that one club I cant think of the name.. well there were people standing around some yellow tape a lot of police and a white sheet on the ground.. I don't want to know what was underneath... I've seen a crazy bag lady jump out in front of me on the bridge going across bayou.. she scared the crap out of me.. we have some party animals here
